"Broken Promises" (working title) takes a global perspective and asks: What are we missing in this polarized debate? Technology's “promise” to change the way children learn has repeatedly underwhelmed and under-delivered. Its impact on kids often hinders the very capacities they will need to navigate an ever more technologically demanding future and workplace. In this film, we look for answers that can lessen the pitfalls of passive, addictive consumption and discover solutions to foster our children to become more fully human, engaged users of integrated tools they understand from the inside out.
